If you were to try to determine exactly what Funding Universe does for clients, the best way to describe the company would be as business advocates. Funding Universe doesn’t write letters to Congress nor do they hold competitions for inventors, but they do counsel business on everything concerning funding. This is why it is important to understand why the people that think that there is FundingUniverse fraud have little understanding of what the company actually does.

Here is an analogy that may help you to understand why some view Funding Universe in the manner that they do. Anyone can walk into a car dealership, but not everyone will drive away in a brand new car. If your income is not high enough, car sales people will ask you to return after you have been in a stable position for a period of time. If your credit score is not high enough, the sales team may refer you to a credit counseling agency in order to raise your score. Consumers may be asked to come up with a higher down payment, or a co-signer because they have a new credit file. Other times, the dealership may steer you away from cars that are out of your price range and show you vehicles that are more aligned with a realistic budget. Lastly, there are those that can walk onto the lot and drive away with their dream car. While everyone wants to belong to the last group described, there are few people that are well qualified.

In essence, most FundingUniverse complaints come from consumers that don’t like to be told that they will have to go through a multi-step process in order to get a business loan. Funding Universe offered them a solution that they did not agree with, and instead of working to get the funds that they needed they would rather try again on their own.
